Morven Lodge

Ideal for beginners and family's, all Land rover track with steep but not technical climbs, Take a picnic as there is a fine grass patch at the lodge, but take all your rubbish home.

A land rover track 6 miles in and 6 miles out, but alternative routes out or in to the Lodge are available.  It adds a mile or two on but we always start by going round the river side at the Ballater golf course and up on to the old line to the Bridge of Gairn, take the Prony road and climb the tarmac road to the gates at the Lary, after closing the gate stay on the track out to Morven lodge.
